What's for Breakfast?

Two farm eggs, fried up and lightly scrambled in olive oil with hot pepper flakes, an out-of-season cucumber peeled (because the skin was so gross and bitter) with salt, a weird crunchy cracker toast because we had no bread in the house, and black coffee, always. 

What's for Breakfast? is a series I'm starting as I'm becoming more and more obsessed with breakfast foods. Like pancakes, and eggs, and yogurt with mango, and baked oatmeal...yum! As a former breakfast-hater, this is a big deal.
